Constant Craving by Melissa Schroeder

Constant Craving

She might trust him with her life but she’s not too sure she can trust him with her heart.

Charity Edwards has never been a woman who liked to compromise–not at work and definitely not in her personal life. So, when TJ Callahan appears on the scene as their FBI liaison, she decides to take a chance on the slow talking Texan.

TJ  doesn’t like undercover work, but thanks to an old case, he has been tasked to do just that. He uses his position to infiltrate TFH to investigate Charity, a woman well-known for her hacking skills. His almost instant attraction he has to Charity makes it impossible not to blur the lines and he soon finds himself falling for the impossible woman.

When his assignment is revealed, Charity wants nothing to do with him, but she has no choice. Thanks to TJ’s investigation, Charity’s life is in jeopardy and he will do anything to protect her–even if it means sacrificing himself.

“what’s wrong with being confident?”  NOTHING!!! fun song and totally applies to Charity Edwards, a kick ass heroine who is brilliant and goes after what she wants.  While generally I get very peeved at situations like TJ and Charity and I was all on board with Drew’s reaction  I thought Charity explained it very well and I was no longer peeved and I thought the honest reactions were a great direction to send the story.  As always Emma steals the show, she cracks me up.  Good story and hot sexy times! I highly recommend!!!

dividerRanae is the youngest of the Buckleys— the only girl among three powerful male siblings. Her restlessness and dominant nature affected her every relationship within Willow Bend, not to mention testing the patience of her Alpha. Apprenticeship to the Hunters fed her desire for a purpose. When her Alpha and eldest brother ask her to undertake a mission to the Yukon territory, she’s thrilled at the opportunity to be useful. Clashing with the Diesel was the last thing she expected on the dangerous assignment.

Diesel, the oldest Alpha in the U.S. packs, lives a gray existence. The loss of his mate so many decades ago wears away at him until he doesn’t give a damn about anything. The problems of the other packs are not his, and he prefers to be left in isolation. The arrival of the Chief Enforcer annoys him, but it is the wolf traveling with him who wakes the predator in Diesel. The scent of mate clings to her, but she rejects his overtures and challenges him on every level.

War may be coming for the Yukon, but Diesel’s battle is very personal…

Once upon a time Ranae was a major brat but there had to be someone, something, somewhere that would be a good fit for her dominant tendencies. Enter one old wolf who’s become complacent with life and needs someone to bring him excitement and a challenge. Diesel and Ranae are a fantastic couple who compliment each other perfectly.

My absolute favorite type of book has a heroine that can hold her own and doesn’t need constant rescuing and Ranae is one tough chick who can rescue people with the most alpha of men.  The story is strong and intense and moves so fast you wont realize you’ve been reading for the last 4 hours until someone insists you either go to work or make them dinner.

This book is awesome, intense, engrossing, funny and smoking hot…..I couldn’t put it down!
